PROJECT 1: FORM AND FUNCTION

In this project we took a bridge and redesigned it adding a movable component. We had to keep in mind the importance of structure as well as design. The movable component was designed to create a passage of 40'x30' for boats.

For this part of the project, we chose five items with unique and complicated moving mechanisms. Out of the five items we chose three favorite ones, in my case I chose vice grips, umbrella, and wrench. the umbrella is the one I used for my bridge design.
